All Camps
Mabalingwe has been described as the perfect all year round big five experience. This 12 500 hectare nature reserve in the Bela-Bela district boasts rolling hills, spectacular scenery, dams, prolific bird-life, 36 species of wild life - including the Big Five – to mention just some of the wonders that await you. In addition to the awesome surrounds and first-rate accommodation, you can choose from a host of activities including game drives, horseback game viewing, paintball, cold and heated swimming pools and an outdoor spa. Or, simply soak up the views and the natural beauty from the peace of your chalet. Mabalingwe is the ideal family getaway destination with a profusion of activities to keep every member of the family active and entertained.
There are five thatched camps stretching from Kubu Camp at the northern tip to the southernmost Ingwe Camp situated next to the main Mabalingwe camp buildings.
The dwellings on all four of these camps are self-catering chalets complete with lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Amongst other features of each building is the patio and braai area from where the visitor to the resort is able to enjoy some of the Limpopo Province's most remarkable sunsets!
The four and six bed chalets provide the traveller with "home from home" comforts and whether it's a summer or winter visit Mabalingwe has got to be judged as the perfect "all year" round experience.
Ingwe camp – leopard / Kwalata Camp
Ingwe camp is situated atop of a craggy rock outcrop, overlooking the Waterberg valley, each chalet with its own unique Sunset and the animals gazing around near the chalet.
The Studio chalet– with a double bed in the loft area, and a double sleeper couch in the living area, the fully equipped kitchen and outside braai facilities.

Kubu Camp – meaning Hipo
Kubu camp is a camp situated further away from all the main facilities. Relaxing in Kubu camp at a swimming pool or the view from your chalet overlooking the Gorcum dam.

Phiri Camp – meaning hyena
Phiri camp the closest to the African Nature experience, with the relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking views. The animals gazing around near by and the sound of peace filling your soul.
